Lost + Found
Camden Public Library Amphitheater
Camden, Maine 2017

Lost + Found was a collaborative multi media event that combined a string performance with an interactive art installation. Set in the amphitheater in camden, maine, the event drew an audience of over one hundred people, who were called on to participate in the piece. Upon entering, guests were asked to write responses to questions like, “How do cycles show up in your relationships?” and “What cycles continue to manifest in your life?” Before the music began, they tied their written responses to ribbons hanging alongside the cut paper installation. These written responses visually and figuratively framed the musical performance, which explored cyclical, round robin notation. By the end of the piece, Lost & Found had transformed into a participatory multi media installation, with the communities’ written prose left as evidence of the event.
